UK debut : Cleopatra with Opera North

I'm very excited to be replacing the stunning Sophie Bevan as Cleopatra in the revival of Opera North's Giulio Cesare in Egitto. The 8 performances will run between september and November at the Grand Theatre in Leeds, Royal Theatre in Nottingham and Newcastle and The Lowry in Manchester.

Op 15 juni gaat een nieuwe productie van het toneelstuk Amadeus in première. Mark Rietman en Sander Plukaard spelen de antagonisten Salieri en Mozart. De opera’s van Mozart hebben een centrale rol in het stuk, maar slechts één vrouw geeft stem aan al die vocale kunsten: sopraan Lucie Chartin. Na de eerste try-out sprak François van den Anker haar.

Recording for All of Bach : Kaffee Cantate

It's a wrap! The video recording of our staged Kaffee Cantate with the Netherlands Bach Society is done shooting. We had a blast. Now it's up to the editting team. I'll let you know when it comes online.

St Matthew Passion Jump-in and Concertgebouw debut

Saturday 13th and Monday 15th of April, I have been singing the soprano solos in the St Matthew Passion with the Nederlands Kamerorkest, the Flemish Radio Choir and (a.o.) Mark Padmore, Peter Harvey and Elena Rasker under the baton of Marc Albrecht. We were broadcasted on Radio 4, Thursday 18th at 19.30.

Christmas Jump-in with the Dutch Chamber Orchestra (NKO)

Thursday 13th and Friday 15th of December, I will be replacing  the soprano Silvia Frigato in the Christmas program of the Dutch Chamber Orchestra with Vivaldi Motets, Theater De Vest in Alkmaar and the Muziekgebouwaan't IJ in Amsterdam
